Hatch is a graphite drawing printed on textured cream paper in a solid black A4 box frame, with a hatch and flipped-back lid in the top moulding; the girl is a separate wooden figure, printed and laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood in our Lincolnshire workshop, shown from the waist up as she climbs out.
