Description
One foot still on the frame, the rest of her already on your wall, and a quick look back to check the picture hasn't noticed.
Gone is a graphite drawing of a girl sprinting out over the corner of her own picture, plaits flying, glancing over her shoulder. The picture she has left is empty cream paper. It is printed on textured cream paper in a solid black A4 box frame; the girl is a separate wooden figure, printed and laser-cut from 3 mm birch plywood in our Lincolnshire workshop, fixed across the bottom-left moulding so she is halfway onto the wall.
